Richard is an empirical technologist and solver of deep-dive technical problems. Recently he has written a book on Java 8 Lambdas for O’Reilly. He’s worked as a developer in many areas including Statistical Analytics, Static Analysis, Compilers and Networking.
He is a leader in the London Java Community and runs OpenJDK Hackdays. Richard is also a known conference speaker, having talked at JavaOne, Devoxx, JFokus, DevoxxUK, Geecon, JAX London and Codemotion. He has obtained a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Warwick.

Raoul-Gabriel Urma obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. He is co-author of the bestselling book Java 8 in Action: Lambdas, Streams, and functional-style programming published by Manning. In addition, Raoul has written over 10 peer-reviewed articles and given over 50 technical talks at international conferences. He has worked for large companies such as Google, eBay, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs, as well as for several startup projects.

Tiberiu Nagy is a polyglot software developer with over 8 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently working as a Java developer, Tiberiu has experience in both C++ and front-end development, having worked on various projects ranging from desktop applications to mobile web sites and distributed Java web-services. His latest interests include distributed systems and finding better ways to build complex enterprise applications.
When he is not at his computer, hacking on code, Tiberiu likes to go on hiking trips and explore the mountains, or generally spend time in nature.
Corina Pip is currently an automation focused test engineer with over 8 years of experience in testing. Having started her testing career working on navigation devices, Corina gradually moved into the online industry, specifically the gaming sector. This gave her the opportunity to work mostly on automation projects, of both the UI and back-end, utilising Selenium, TestNG, Java, and similar languages, whilst working in an Agile environment.
Corina loves automation and learning new and interesting technologies, improving her automation skills and spreading the knowledge to her peers. During her spare time Corina likes: blogging about testing (https://iamalittletester.wordpress.com), travelling and seeing loads of beautiful places, taking tons of photos of them, learning foreign languages, or just doing one of the other hundreds of hobbies she has.

Claudiu Gorgan is an application performance enthusiast with background in performance testing and tuning applications that cope even 60k tps at peak load. He is also looking to spread the word about performance testing, coach and grew the community of performance testing enthusiasts.
Started as a mobile test engineer for companies such as Gameloft and Neusoft, working on mobile applications for iOS, Android and Windows Mobile.
Slowly moved towards web service automation testing at Endava where I worked in the card payments sector.
For the last 3 years I have been involved in everything automation related at Paddy Power Betfair where I am currently working on various both front end UI projects and back end service ones. I am interested in continuously improving the automation practices and streamlining testing as part of a continuous delivery process.
Laura Vig is a Senior QA Engineer with 10 year experience in this area. She has been involved in test automation on various projects from desktop application to web applications and web services. She is passionate about learning new technologies related to test automation an tries to improve her ways of working.
