With more than 7 years of experience in data-driven environments in companies like IBM, George is passionate about delivering the most innovative and effective solutions, involving multiple technologies, real time flows and multi-terabyte datastores.
As a Data Developer in Enterprise Delivery Services Team, he works with data of any shape and flavor, from any source. In his team, they make data available across the business for virtually anyone who needs it, when they need it.
On a different track, he's a Machine Learning enthusiast trying to uncover hidden patterns in large data sets.
Mr. Dorca, CGEIT is an Information Security professional, with background in several security sectors, such as information security risk management, governance, assurance, supply chain security, production security, manufacturing, and secure software development. He works in the private environment and has partnerships with the public government entities in this field. He is a martial arts practitioner and in 2003 he won the World Karate Cup WKC. He studied at the Technical University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz, Austria. He was the Director of Security with Nokia Romania and currently he is the Head of Security Country Management at Betfair.
Mr. Corlan, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, is an experienced IT & Information Security professional. He worked for several multi-national organizations in the financial and telecom sectors, and provided consulting and audit services for EU private sector organizations. He holds a M.Sc. in IT&C Security and an M.A. in Security Studies from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Sociology. He contributed the chapter "Globalization and Security in the Information Age" in the book "Security Studies" (2011). He is currently Information Security Country Manager at Betfair.
Jaco has more than 12 years' experience working in fast paced, disciplined, agile environments with multinational teams ranging from banking to online betting industry. Heading a Hosting Services department he deals with a complex environment - a mix of beautifully architected software and infrastructure, some legacy and all sorts in between. He oversees Data Centres, Networks, and Storage collectively covering pre-production and critical production environments. His team strives to work with disruptive technologies (e.g. Flash which has changed the storage market), continues to push the boundaries of uptime, availability and performance for example "In-Memory database" options and data replication technologies.
During the last 10 years Ioan has been involved in designing and implementing complex networking systems for multinational players in the Telecoms industry. Now he is part of a distributed team supporting all networking related aspects for one of the largest only sports betting operator and gaming providers.
Senior network engineer with 7 years of experience in Telecoms field, Sebastian is a subject matter expert in both WAN and LAN technologies. Sebastian has led the implementation of the network strategy for multinational technology and manufacturing providers that operate on the local market in Cluj.
IT Team Lead with more than 8 years of experience in various IT Support roles working for several large companies, Teodor is now leading a team of engineers focused on delivering large projects impacting all end users in the enterprise. He is passionate about delivering IT services, systems management solutions and automation.
